A half-acre of suburban metropolitan Georgia land, in Southern Outer Piedmont ecoregion, on the Chattahoochee River basin, classified as Hardiness Zone 8a

This is the property that started it all. Stewarded since 2010, with strong emphasis on native and/or edible plants since 2013. The primary anthropocentric priorities are residence, home-scale farming, perennial agriculture, and native gardening. There is a constant barrage of invasive plants blowing in from the neighborhood, but I keep up with a raised bed garden, holistic orchard, forest garden, and container water gardens as best as I can. I also provide a free community composting service, host homeschool events, and am in the process of converting my front yard and garden beds into a native pocket prairie planting.
